This category includes machines and plants for various processes in which the solvent is CO2 in the supercritical or liquid phase (with operating pressures which vary typically between 60 and 600 bar).After introducing this diversification in the early 90s, Fedegari has developed and perfected original and particularly safe technical solutions despite the limited knowledge available in this field owing to the fact that this technology is not yet widely in use.

In this regard, Fedegari's experience in conventional work turned out to be pivotal, allowing the reuse (with appropriate modifications) of technical solutions which have been tested by years of operation in the field.

Unlike sterilization, this new technology was introduced successfully by Fedegari thanks to active collaboration with national and foreign companies and research centers that had already been involved in this field for years and are still aknowledged as leading-edge organizations.
These processes offer 2 main advantages: lack of environmental impact and "purity" of the processed products, which contain no solvent residues and show no degradation caused by high process temperatures.
