The whole piping is entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel, its components are fully sanitary and are the same ones used in industrial sterilizers. The same is true for the sterilization chamber and for the doors which use the manufacturing solutions that even today characterize the uniqueness of a Fedegari sterilizer. The process controller, based on a PLC with touch-screen man-machine interface (MMI), was also developed by Fedegari by deriving many solutions from the dedicated process controllers of industrial sterilizers. Likewise, the process software has been produced, validated and is constantly maintained by Fedegari to quality-assurance standards.
Since all functions are managed by the process controller, the unit can operate without assistance from the operator, except for initial selection of the process and product loading and unloading operations. The FOH series sterilizers stand out thanks to their simple operation and highly functional solutions which are unencumbered by unnecessary flexibility not required by the type of application: radical streamlining has in fact reduced considerably the number and size of the actuators, allowing easy and immediate access to the individual components for any maintenance. All this leads to a significant reduction in the time and cost required for spare parts management, downtimes and personnel training.
